What is the Best Way to Make Money Online?

Making money online is a desire for many of us internet users, but actually putting a plan in motion to accomplish this task is much more difficult than it may seem. More often than not, we as beginners really have no idea on how to start or where to look. Most of us will turn to our favorite search engine for help and guidance, I know I did.

What you will soon find out is there are thousands of ways to earn money online such as completing surveys, writing articles, writing reviews, Google ad sense, blogging, virtual assistant, tutoring, teaching, reading emails, accepting snail mail, affiliate marketing, human intelligent tasks, focus studies, and the list just keeps going.

I have been teaching myself how to make money online since 2008, and I must say it has been a long hard road. It has now been four years later and I still don't make enough to quit my day job, but I do make extra money online quite often. It takes time to build an empire, believe me it hasn't been easy. I am a full time employee, as well as a single mother of three and I haven't been able to give it a whole hearted 100 % of my time--maybe 30% at best. 

Many of the online money making concepts that I mentioned earlier have both good and bad sides. For instance, completing online surveys for cash is easy work, great for beginners, and free to start which are all good. The bad side is that you will need to sign up with as many survey sites as you can find in order to make decent money, and the income from this type of work is just not steady. Completing free online surveys and focus groups for cash brings me $500 per month or less.

Writing articles, blog posts, and reviews has earned me a decent amount of money as well but again it has not been constant enough to replace a full time income by no means. Most people hear the words writing and articles and immediately think of how much they hated writing in school!

Writing for the internet is much different than writing as we do or have done for school. Internet writing is more relaxed than writing essays and such. This type of job has it's positives, and negatives as well. Most of the online writing jobs are free to start, easy to learn, almost anyone can do it, and it can pay very well. The negative side is the money is sporadic at best, and it takes time to research and write as well.

Virtual assistant jobs pay well, but do require a bit of work. You may need some degree of computer skills for this type of job, but most will pay you $12-$15 dollars an hour which is pretty good. The downside-very time consuming, and it's hard to find people willing to hire you. I tried my hand at this for a few months, and didn't really care for it but it may be of interest to you.

Reading emails, accepting snail mail, human intelligence tasks and clicking on ads for money, these jobs are plentiful but they literally pay pennies. Again if you are new to the online money making world and are looking for some extra spending money this may be for you. For me, it's just not worth the time it takes.

Affiliate marketing is one of the most promising online money makers that I have found so far, but it sure isn't the easiest. There is a huge learning curve along with information overload, yet this type of job has the ability to yield a large amount of profit.

You can learn affiliate marketing without spending a dime, but it may take a substantial amount of time.. never the less it can be done. When you perform marketing without using money to do it, it's known as bum marketing.

If you have never heard about affiliate marketing you may be wondering what it's all about. Simply put, affiliate marketing is where you sell someone's product and in return you earn a commission. Your job is to connect people with products, or services. This can be done in many different ways, online and off.

The best part is that you can earn money while you are learning how to become an affiliate marketer. You will see that the more you learn the more you will earn so it keeps you interested. There are a few honest places out here that can help you get to your goals in much less time, but you have to be careful. Many of the people that claim they are willing to help are also the same one's that will take your money and run.

Get Paid for Your Opinion on Tools

Guys, today I have a special money making post just for you! Ladies, feel free to read it anyway so that you may help me inform the men in your lives.

Now the program I want to inform you guys about involves completing surveys, these aren't the typical earn a dollar kind of surveys either. There is a company out here that collects opinions for the tool making industry. I stumbled across this program a month ago while doing some research for a previous survey post.

I am not that familiar with tools, well I know the basics but I don't feel that this is enough to qualify for these specific surveys:(  Any how, I couldn't pass up an opportunity to make decent cash either so I signed my brother up. There is a simple form requiring the basics such as name, address, email, and birth date, but you are not required to give a social security number!

So far he has been a member for two months now, and he has received 3 survey invites. The first one was 16 minutes long, and worth $15.00 for completing. The second survey was worth $10.00, and took 6 minutes. The last survey that he got was worth $20.00, but he didn't qualify. Even if you don't qualify for the survey in question you are still paid $2.00 for your time. The qualifying questionnaire is usually about two or three minutes long.

So all in all my brother has made $27.00 for 24 minutes of his time! That's pretty good money for simply answering a few questions wouldn't you say?  

You can request a check at anytime, and it will be mailed to the address you gave them when you joined so if you move make sure that you update your profile. Their site says it takes 8-12 weeks to get your money, but I have talked to others that have been paid and it seems to average 4 weeks for most. Today I would like to share with you 13 of my favorite top survey sites that pay through Paypal. Feel free to sign up for as many as you like. In fact the more you sign up for, the more money you stand to make.

 I would suggest getting a separate email address that you can use exclusively for online work opportunities. Sign up for at least 10 survey sites or more, and start checking your inbox. In the beginning it is very important to fill out as many of these questionnaire's as possible, and in a timely fashion as well. This has proven to be a way of building trust with the survey companies, and in return you will receive higher paying surveys, more often.

Now you shouldn't expect to get rich with this type of work, it's just a simple way to earn extra money online without spending anything other than time. Completing surveys is just one way that I earn money online, but I have built it up to an extra $300-$500 per month which does make a difference. Okay, enough babbling! Let's move on to business.  Esearch- This site is free to join, and of course pays through paypal. Once you have joined, they will send you emails making you aware of new survey opportunities that are available. You will be notified in that email of all the details including the price per survey, length of survey, and when you will be paid for this survey. I have found that most of these surveys paid an average of $5.00 and are roughly 15 minutes in length. 

P.V.P- Here is a survey site that is a bit different from the rest. When you first sign up you will be asked a series of personal questions, answer these as honestly as possible because you will be quizzed for honesty later! P.V.P will send you invites to short little surveys in which there will be some of those previously answered personal questions. If you answer them correctly you will receive money, and something called trait points. The higher your trait score the more money you make. You can cash out once you have earned $15.00. This site is also free to join, and of course pays through paypal as well   

Dollar Surveys- Now Dollar Surveys only pays $1.00 per survey and you are only allowed to take one survey per day but they pay fast, and it adds up quickly. Most of the surveys that I have completed have been between 5-7 minutes in length, and I usually get paid within a couple of days all though the site says 1 week. Again this site pays through paypal, and is completely free to join.  

Survey Spot- They use a point system, but don't worry you can exchange them for cash. Every 1000 points = $10 in Paypal cash. I have found that the average survey here is about 15 minutes in length, and have been roughly 1000-1500 in reward points. Some have been less, and some were worth more. At first I had a hard
time qualifying for survey's, but perseverance has finally started to pay off.

Vindale Survey Research- Vindale is a free to join site that has several ways for you to earn money online without investment. You can get paid to test products and services that you are allowed to keep! You can earn money by completing surveys, watching videos and more. You will need to earn $50 to cash out, and they do pay directly to your paypal account. Payments are made twice per month, on the 15th and the last day of the month. Surveys can earn you in between $5-$75.  

Survey Head- This site does pay via PayPal but you will need at least $50 to cash out using that method. You can cash in earlier if you want magazine subscriptions, or Amazon gift cards. This is another site that I had difficulty getting qualified for surveys with. You can sign in to the site to complete surveys, or wait for emails. Each survey will explain it's worth before you begin.  

Pinecone Research-You will be paid $3.00 for product evaluation, and surveys. This is a great site, but very hard to get accepted. You must sign up using a referral link which is advertised on random related sites. There is no way of knowing how long this link will be live so try to sign up quickly by clicking here. Of course this is a free site, and you will get paid through paypal. I believe you can cash out with as little as one dollar in your account.

Mind Field-Another free online survey site that pays through paypal.  You will only need $5.00 to cash out, and the average survey is worth $3-$5 and about 10-15 minutes in length. This site is similar to the others, just sign up and wait for the invites to come in.

Hot Spex- A free, unique experience indeed, here you will earn money for completing surveys. Each questionnaire is worth a certain amount of Bux. They can be used to enter raffles, or you may trade them for paypal cash. Before you are eligible to receive a paypal award you must become a VIP member. You can do this by filling out at least 5 surveys via email not directly on the site. 

Vocalabs- Most surveys here are only worth a buck or two but they pay fast directly to your paypal account. You will receive details and invites by email, for each survey. My average survey here has been worth $4-$6, and is about 10 minutes in length.  

Jury Testers- This isn't your typical survey site. You will basically act as a mock juror in order to help lawyers test and evaluate their cases. Again this is a free survey site that pays very well through paypal. You can earn up to $50.00 per completed survey questionnaire. Easy work, and good money here. Your time is valuable and this site has no problem paying you for it.

My Survey- Another free site that uses points that can be traded in for paypal cash. 1000 points is equal to $10.00 in cash. My experience with this site has been pretty interesting, they start out slow and then the surveys start flowing in. I have averaged $70-$90 a month with this one site. 

A.C.O.P - My all time favorite survey site of all! Here you will be paid to test products, and complete short surveys. This is another site that uses a points system, each point is equivalent to a penny. I know it doesn't sound like much but believe me.. it adds up quickly. Most full surveys are valued between 400-600 points, which equals $4.00-$6.00. There are short surveys as well these are usually worth 50 points or so. You only need 1000 points to cash out.
